LiteTile Spectrum is a powerful addition to the LiteGear family of products. With an entirely redesigned light engine, weatherproof housing, lightweight design, and compatibility with existing LiteGear dimmers, the LiteTile Spectrum is in a league all its own. Like the LiteTile Plus, LiteTile Spectrum is constructed of a durable and foldable engineered fabric housing which enables a vast number of applications and flexibility. LiteTile Spectrum comes in two sizes, LiteTile Spectrum 4 and LiteTile Spectrum 8, with four and eight light engines, respectively.

We pulled out all the stops with our next-gen Spectrum engine — the Spectrum Ultra. The new Spectrum Ultra light engine in the LiteTile Spectrum is a significant advancement in color, output, and control. Redesigned electronics offer enhanced features while reducing weight. The Spectrum Ultra light engine heralds the future of LiteGear color.

New LED Mixture, New Color Science

Spectrum Ultra light engines feature a new RGBALC color mixture, thanks to custom-designed LEDs that provide a wide color gamut spanning 90% of Rec2020. This gamut offers an impressive 15% more colors beyond the Rec2020 standard. The RGBACL mixtures enable exceptional color rendition across a broad range of color temperatures, from 1,700K to 20,000K. A multitude of color selection options is possible due to new, embedded color science in each light engine.

8-times the Pixels

With the same dimensional footprint as the original Spectrum light engines, Spectrum Ultra has eight times the number of pixels. Each light engine is divided into eight square-shaped pixels, which means more control and creative possibilities than ever before. Whether you are crafting a lighting effect or working in a video-based lighting environment, Spectrum Ultra is the ideal solution.

The LiteTile Spectrum 8 features 64 pixels.

Increased Brightness

Compared to the original Spectrum light engine, the Spectrum Ultra is 20% brighter*, yet it consumes the same amount of power. While providing this additional brightness, the Spectrum Ultra light engine offers smooth dimming capabilities, seamlessly fading to zero percent.

The Spectrum Ultra light engine boasts improved color, higher brightness, and a multitude of pixels, all while being thinner and lighter than its predecessors. LiteTile Spectrum, the inaugural LiteGear product to be weatherproof, boasts a unique weatherproof envelope encasing each Spectrum Ultra light engine that can withstand the toughest of set weather conditions. The simple yet innovative weatherproofing maintains a lightweight design and slim profile. Engineered with fast-drying fabric components, the LiteTile Spectrum can go from wet to dry in very little time. Now, you can use LiteTile in whatever harsh environment is thrown at you.

Service Made Simple

LiteTile Spectrum was meticulously designed to be entirely field and bench serviceable. Housing, light engines, and cable harnesses can be swiftly repaired or replaced within minutes. The repair process is non-destructive and can be done with minimal tools. A small variety of spare parts and comprehensive repair guides make servicing LiteTile Spectrum a breeze.

Dimmer Compatibility

The LiteDimmer Spectrum AC/DC 200 and 400 were introduced alongside the LiteMat Spectrum Gen 2 in 2023. We pledged to our customers that these dimmers would be compatible with future LiteGear product families. And we’re keeping that promise with the release of the LiteTile Spectrum. Despite the LiteTile Spectrum having a completely new light engine and design, the LiteDimmer Spectrum AC/DC 200 and 400 will work seamlessly. This cross-platform compatibility ensures that your investment in LiteGear dimmers is a sound one for years to come.
